I know it's been a minute since my last post and I apologize.
Since I last posted something I've, relocated to NYC (3 months...maybe longer?), broke down/setup the home studio, wrote about 10 new r&b/pop records for various major labels (*fingers crossed* on placements) and become a proud uncle to my sister's new daughter, Afiya. Safe to say a brotha's been busy on this side.
With that being said...in the next few months lookout for new music dropping from the Better Than Good (Album) -- Deluxe Edition dropping June w/ new songs + surprises, *NEW* Video for my 2nd single, "Down In History" dropping later this month, collab records and more TBA!!!!
Before all that, my team at DDP will keep bangin out episodes of Keeping Up With the Jones to hold you over...
We at DDP have been dropping verses from my favorite records in this Keeping Up With the Jones Miniseries to breakdown where I'm coming from with these songs. My lyrics have always been very personal and if you know me then you will notice that they speak on what is normally going on in my life in that exact moment when Im writing the verses.
Most of the footage (up to this point) has been shot in and around L.A. and has me spittin verses acapella for clarity. Before we move on and drop Episode #5 "Victory" next week, let me show you where we've come from...
